Hawaiʻi Meals on Wheels hosted our annual Volunteer Appreciation Saturday, March 28, 2026 at the Community Church of Honolulu. The atmosphere was loud and lively with volunteers celebrating 5 year anniversaries to 25 year anniversaries, like Tammy Ackerman, (in photo, on right.)
There was exceptional music provided by the HMoW Band, hula, speeches, prizes, butterflies, and a delicious buffet lunch catered by 100% Hawaiian. Michelle Cordero-Lee, our CEO, expressed gratitude to the volunteers, stating, “You are all Hawai’i Meals on Wheels. Everything we accomplish together is because of you. Mahalo!”
