If you are a volunteer: Hawai'i Meals on Wheels, Inc. will adhere to civil defense instructions. If Civil Defense declares it unsafe for people to be on the road, neither staff nor volunteers will deliver meals until an “all clear” is given by Civil Defense.
If you are a client: Clients may not receive scheduled meals during a Civil Defense emergency. Please have some emergency supplies in readiness including canned food and bottled water. Please keep your radios tuned into the Civil Defense Channels for emergency updates. Once the "all clear" is given, we will resume our meal deliveries to you.
